On January 13 SCO labour markets will be discussed in Moscow

An expanded meeting of the Committee on Economic Integration of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation and the Commonwealth of Independent States on Employment Market in the SCO and CIS Countries Today will be held at the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry on January 13.

The participants will consider foreign labour migration problems and the role of chambers of commerce and industry (CCI) in their resolution. Such issues as involvement and use of highly qualified specialists and workers from the SCO and the CIS, the creation and implementation of the legal and regulatory framework governing labour migration, and CCI activities to provide services for entrepreneurs in the field of labour migration may also be addressed. In addition, it is planned to discuss the Russian Federation CCI's cooperation with federal executive authorities and partner organisations in the SCO and CIS counties to address labour migration problems.

It is expected that Russian Minister of Labour and Social Protection Maxim Topilin, Head of the Russian Federal Migration Service Konstantin Romodanovsky, Head of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Sergei Katyrin, Chair of the Tajikistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Sharif Said, and Timur Suleimenov, member of the Collegium (Minister) for Economics and Financial Policy of the Eurasian Economic Commission, will attend the meeting.
